Exam Preparation at ERA College
At ERA College, preparing our students for all the exams they will take is considered one of the primary objectives of our education system. In this regard, our students are prepared by our experienced academic staff for the LGS exam in the 8th grade and the YKS exam in the 12th grade, without the need for additional support. At every moment of this preparation process, our guidance service supports our students and parents with individual meetings and seminars. Our students; While completing their academic development with our rich variety of documents and quality lectures, they also understand test-taking techniques, learn to use their time efficiently, and thus prepare for the exams in the best possible way.
At ERA College, LGS preparation is a process that starts in the 7th grade and continues intensively in the 8th grade. Students are prepared for LGS by experienced teachers, without needing additional support. During the exam process, our students are given various goals to reinforce the subjects and minimize their mistakes, and our teachers monitor how many of these goals they have achieved and how far they are. In addition, at ERA College, Subject Evaluation Exams and LGS-like exams, which are a kind of simulation of the real LGS, are held at regular intervals during the process until LGS.
In line with the plan made at the beginning of the year, lectures in academic courses are completed in April and then the general revision process begins. During the general revision process, our students have the opportunity to complete their deficiencies, take a trial exam, solve a lot of questions, ask their teachers what they do not understand, and repeat. In this process, while students are supported academically, an effective program is also implemented in the areas of motivation and time management. An individual study plan is prepared based on the subjects in which the students are deficient, and taking into account their living conditions, accompanied by guides and consultant teachers. With the monitoring and evaluation of consultant teachers, students are ensured to act in accordance with their individual study plans.

At ERA, preparation for the higher education exam begins with creating exam awareness in the 9th grade and progresses with increasing emphasis every year. Starting from the 9th grade, students enter the mental preparation process for university through Guidance and Exam Preparation Programs. Our students do not need any support outside of school during their preparation for YKS.
In the 10th grade, our students are given career introductions so that they can choose the field that best suits them. With these choices, they aim to achieve success in YKS.
The preparation process is carried out in 11th and 12th grades with more intensive programs and exam-oriented educational materials. In the YKS preparation program of our 11th grade students, TYT subjects are also taught in addition to AYT subjects. TYT exams are administered intensively after the April midterm break.
The YKS preparation process for our students who have just started the 12th grade begins in June. The exam preparation process of our students, who face a more intense schedule starting from August, continues 6 days a week throughout the year. In courses in all fields, TYT subjects are completed first. When YKS-based studies begin, TYT repetitions continue. The subjects are completed with the April midterm break, and then TYT and AYT trial exams are administered intensively.
The rich variety of publications used by ERA College students in YKS preparation are prepared by experts in their fields, compatible with the curriculum and up-to-date. Our students do not need extra publications during their preparations. With the TYT and AYT tests applied to our 11th and 12th grade students, our students understand the logic of YKS questions.
The progress of our students is monitored as a result of reliable measurement and strong evaluations throughout all studies. In cooperation with our consultant teachers and our guidance unit, individual study programs and studies are planned for students in line with their needs. Feedback is provided in a timely manner.
Our psychological counseling and guidance unit is always with our students to ensure that this process goes through in the healthiest way possible. Career promotions and career counseling are done meticulously. Many inventories are applied, seminars, trainings are given and workshops are prepared. Vocational and university promotion seminars and trips are organized.
Our guidance unit provides detailed information to students and parents about the universities and departments that our students can choose. Our students' preference list is created in line with the data received from our preference robot and the information provided. This process is shaped by the cooperation of teacher - student - parent, ensuring that the student reaches his goal.
With the determination of our students, the dedication of our teachers and the support of our families, we take pride in our achievements in the LGS and YKS exams.
Our student Can Şimşek from ERA College Bursa campus earned a full score of 500 in LGS 2026 and the right to enroll at Galatasaray High School. This honor roll is the finest proof of our teachers’ dedication and our students’ determination.

While 88.5% of our students earned the right to study at Anatolian High Schools, 8.9% chose Vocational & Technical Anatolian High Schools; those placed in Science High Schools and Fine Arts High Schools were equal at 1.8%, followed by Social Sciences High Schools (1.7%), Vocational High Schools (3.2%), Anatolian Imam Hatip High Schools (1.3%) and Sports High Schools (1.0%).
Our graduates earned placements in more than 90 universities and over 150 different programs in the 2026 YKS. While 60% of our students were placed in bachelor’s programs and 40% in associate programs, we are proud of those who earned the right to study at long-established institutions such as Boğaziçi, Hacettepe, Ankara, Marmara and Ege Universities.
