As we begin our article series on Professions of the Future, we should never forget the Metaverse universes, which include all virtual reality and augmented reality in the future. Many real-life events, entertainment, education, socializing, sports, etc. Activities have started to be moved to virtual environments or are being moved at a high speed with the increase in technological opportunities. These activities undoubtedly take place in the Metaverse Universes. How these universes will be and what they will contain will undoubtedly be an important line of business. In this regard, the "Metaverse Universe Designers" will have a lot of work to do. Just as architects and engineers generally design cities and buildings in real life, Metaverse Universe Designers will create these worlds in the virtual world and make them available to all people. Architectural design activities to be carried out in the virtual world will create a freer space as it does not contain many restrictions in the real world.

Since many regulations and physical impossibilities that restrict architects in real life do not exist here, the designer will create his own opportunities with his creative thinking skills. This situation, with the formation of a new three-dimensional universe, will reveal its own difficulties, its own rules, its own programs and its own design methods, and will require learning many new methods. When we look at the important competencies of Metaverse Universe Designers, it will not only be coding or designing, the most important competency to have will be imagination. In today's world, where the rules of the virtual universe and what can be done are just being established, the richness of imagination will determine the limits of all humanity's activities in this world. The more unlimited the imagination, the more unlimited the possibilities in this world will be.

Era Colleges, we work with our entire educational staff on how important imagination is in our kindergarten, primary, secondary and high school education and how it should never be lost. In our technology and design courses, we constantly work on transforming imagination into a virtual or real product(s). In this regard, our students' works have attracted attention from both the competition committees and the public in many important events such as Teknofest and have been deemed worthy of various awards.
