At ERA College kindergarten, a child-centered and game-based education program supporting the 5G Education Model is implemented. In addition to contributing to children's development of positive attitudes towards learning, it is aimed to provide them with experiences that will enable them to progress to the next level developmentally.
At ERA College kindergarten, weekly lesson distribution is carried out with emphasis on academic education and foreign language education. Activities that support students' cognitive development through academic education and ensure their readiness for primary school are supported by Scamper and Gems education models. Children's sense of learning and curiosity, research, questioning and problem-solving skills are strengthened. It enables one to find solutions to problems and look at events from different perspectives. Thinking Skills course is an important part of this process. This course is designed to develop children's critical and creative thinking skills and support their skills in reasoning, analyzing and making connections between ideas. Children learn various thinking strategies and problem solving methods through fun and hands-on methods. In addition, this course contributes to the emotional and social development of students, helps them know themselves better and strengthen their social skills.
The Foreign Language Program is game-based and carried out in line with the age level of the children. The activity-oriented program is supported by interactive applications. The information learned in classes is reinforced by using it in every field as a communication tool, becoming a part of daily life. With the Test of Speking (TOS), which is unique to ERA College, students' foreign language learning levels begin to be measured starting from kindergarten.
MIND STUDIO lessons, which support the physical development of children specific to ERA College, are held in specially designed studios. These lessons aim to develop children's fine and gross motor skills as well as the development of balance, coordination, rhythm and timing perceptions.
Mandala-based art works are accompanied by classical music and improve children's aesthetic perception and art skills. These studies also allow children to discover their individual interests and abilities.
The foundations of coding, the language of the digital age, begin to be laid starting from kindergarten. Children's thinking skills, memory and cognitive skills are developed and strengthened through mind and intelligence games.
In the play corners prepared in accordance with the developmental levels of the children, children have the opportunity to rehearse daily life through individual or group games. In addition to gaining awareness of cooperation and teamwork, they also acquire effective communication skills.
