ERA College primary school Turkish course curriculum; It is based on the basic skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Our goal is to provide students with these four basic skills and to enable them to apply them in their lives.

Apart from these, our aim is to ensure that students become individuals who understand what they listen to, read and watch, interpret what they understand and bring a critical perspective. 

As ERA College, in the Turkish class;

In order to carry out a solid reading and writing study for our first grade students, a process begins from sounds to syllables, from syllables to words, and from words to creating meaningful sentences. Our aim here is; Our students' awareness of units such as sounds, syllables, words and sentences in our language, their ability to distinguish them, and their ability to achieve reading and writing skills related to these.

In our lesson planning and in-class activities at all levels of primary school, emphasis is placed on listening, speaking, reading and writing achievements. In this way, it is aimed to raise individuals who know how to listen, speak fluently and properly, acquire the habit of reading, and express their thoughts accurately in written and oral form. 

With the training we provide, we aim to improve the self-confidence of our students, support them in expressing themselves accurately, clearly and understandably in every environment, and enable them to use their native language correctly and effectively. 

We give creative writing seminars to our students at the primary school level with the writers we invite to our schools. In this way, we aim to raise awareness in our students about the act of writing, to be open to innovation, and to gain the habit of expressing their thoughts boldly. As an institution that is aware that reading and writing is a never-ending journey, we include such conversations in our course activities at every grade level.

As ERA College Mathematics Department, our aim in primary school is to improve the mathematical literacy skills of our students, to teach mathematical concepts and to enable them to use these concepts in daily life.

One of our most important goals is to raise students who can easily express their own thoughts in the problem-solving process, who can understand the relationships between people and objects and the relationships between objects using the language of mathematics, and who can consciously manage their own learning processes. In addition, among our most important goals is to raise students who can use estimation and mental calculation skills, develop a positive attitude towards mathematics, approach mathematical problems confidently, and develop the characteristics of being systematic, careful, patient and responsible. 

In the education and training we provide in the fields of numbers, geometry, measurement and data learning, which constitute our mathematics course program, we use number cards, ten blocks, fraction sets, geometry strips, geometry boards, various models obtained from simple daily materials, etc. By using concrete materials, we enable students to learn by having fun, doing and experiencing, and we attach importance to interdisciplinary approaches. We make our lesson plans taking into account the development levels and individual differences of our students. 

Students who graduate from primary school at ERA College continue their lives as individuals who can do research, use knowledge, realize the relationship between mathematics and art and aesthetics, and are aware that mathematics is an important value for humanity.

Life sciences course not only enables students to discover their physical and emotional characteristics, but also helps them get to know the society and world they live in. Life sciences course is given to students in the first three grades of primary school with a spiral education model. The role of life studies course is very important in helping students gain the awareness of being good citizens and playing an active role in social life as responsible individuals.

In line with these goals, as ERA College, we explain the subjects to our students within the framework of the program determined by the Ministry of National Education. We take care to implement practices that will enable our students to put the knowledge they have learned into practice through the practices we carry out inside and outside the school.

The general purpose of the science course is to ensure that our students grow up as scientifically literate. Science literacy; It can be defined as being able to understand the events in the environment and explain them scientifically, solving the problems encountered in life with a scientific approach, following and understanding scientific developments. 

As ERA College Science Department, we primarily ensure that our students grow up as science literate. We know that teaching science is not just about teaching scientific concepts. Therefore, along with teaching scientific concepts, we also introduce science to our students. We enable them to establish relationships between technology, society and the environment. We teach how to do scientific work. We help students understand the functioning of science and the characteristics of scientific knowledge.

As the Department of Science at ERA College; We use teaching techniques such as brainstorming, opinion development, question and answer, experiment, observation and review. Apart from these, we carry out drama activities, educational games, laboratory studies and exhibition works. Instead of giving scientific information through direct explanation, we create environments for our students to learn on their own and direct them with questions. When necessary, we provide feedback by making short explanations and guide the learning process. We ensure that scientific concepts are discovered through activities and then scientific goals are achieved.

Social studies is a course that prepares students for social life and develops their social side. In this course, students are provided with basic knowledge, skills, attitudes and values ​​about social life. As ERA College, we implement a curriculum that aims to get to know the society they live in, understand their social environment and become an active individual as a part of society.

With the social studies course at ERA College, our students;

In line with these goals, as ERA College, we provide the necessary academic information to our students in the social studies course in accordance with the program determined by the Ministry of National Education. We support our students to ensure that the knowledge they learn is permanent through various activities.

By holding class president and school representative elections in our schools, we ensure that they learn democratic values and gain the awareness of being an active citizen. Through our joint work with various non-governmental organizations, we organize charity bazaars in our schools, aiming to develop the sense of cooperation and solidarity in our students and to make them individuals who are sensitive to social problems. 

We aim to help our students gain awareness of the preservation of cultural heritage by enabling them to see historical and natural beauties on site through the trips we organize throughout the year. 

Our students, who have been introduced to the social studies course since the 4th grade at ERA College and achieved different achievements, grow up as individuals who are aware of their own interests and desires, aware of their rights and responsibilities, and able to express their own feelings and thoughts freely.

At ERA College, physical education and game lessons are taught on a game-based basis. Therefore, in our efforts to raise healthy individuals and contribute to the development of our students in accordance with the 5-Part Development System (mental, physical, psychological, social, academic development), the most entertaining activities are through this course. 

Our aims of physical education and game lessons are; Our aim is to provide and develop our students with the skills of taking individual responsibility, communicating effectively, cooperating, playing fair, taking social responsibility, respecting differences, setting goals, making plans to achieve the goal, and evaluating the results.  

For these purposes, we carry out the following activities in our lessons.

We continue our lessons, which we started with order exercises in primary school, by enriching basic skills such as balance, jumping, leaping, running, catching, throwing, throwing and hitting the ball with educational games. Then, we provide basic training in gymnastics and basketball, and by using these sports in games, we ensure that our students learn while having fun. We move on to the application phase by explaining the basic movements of football, table tennis and badminton sports.

Sports involve the goal of expanding success and excelling in competition. In line with this principle, in order to teach our students the concepts of winning and losing, we have them do paired competitions and activities to improve muscle coordination throughout the year, and we closely monitor the physical development of the students by measuring their height and weight regularly. 

By organizing inter-class tournaments, we contribute to the development of the concepts of cooperation, socialization and solidarity. We discover talented students and cooperate with their parents to develop their talents. 

For the sake of a healthy life, our students' height and weight are measured at regular intervals and their body mass indexes are calculated. At the end of each semester, our students are given a "Body Mass Index Report Card" and the necessary recommendations are shared with the family.

Based on the fact that music is effective in the formation of cultural identity and at every stage of life, starting from early ages, we ensure that our students develop themselves and receive education in line with their abilities.

Our students at ERA College; Through music, they develop their aesthetic aspects, creativity and talents, and their feelings of love, sharing and responsibility. They can express their feelings, thoughts and experiences through music. They recognize local, regional, national and international music genres and perceive elements of different cultures as richness. As they improve their mental skills through music, they also improve their individual and social relationships. They participate in quality listening and singing activities of different types of songs individually and collectively. They can sing our anthems, especially the National Anthem, in accordance with its essence. 

In our music workshops located on every campus of ERA College, our students can explore different musical instruments and focus on the music style they want. 

In music class at ERA College;

We teach the rules of listening and making music appropriate to the environment. We do voice and breathing exercises. Especially nursery rhymes, lullabies, counting, mania, etc. We enable them to sing the music they have learned together, using rhythmic and melodic genres based on lyrics. We show them that they can use their bodies like a rhythm instrument and enable them to produce different sounds using their bodies. We want them to move in accordance with these rhythms by playing slow and fast rhythms with a percussion instrument, and thus we aim to increase their musical perception.

We enable them to recognize and discover the musical instruments around them. We develop music taste and culture by listening to different types of music. We ensure that they participate in music events held at the school as listeners or staff. 

We teach them to use their diaphragms through imitation activities such as blowing balloons, inflating their abdomen, smelling flowers, and extinguishing fire. We give them sample practices to use their voice and breath correctly while speaking and singing. We enable them to exhibit appropriate dance figures from the cultures of our different regions. We introduce percussion, wind, string, key and string instruments according to their features.

We teach basic music writing and elements. We enable them to express their feelings and thoughts through the music they listen to and to present the melodies they create. We guide them to participate in music events around them.

Visual arts education; It is a necessity for all age groups as it provides benefits in terms of socialization as well as personal contributions such as the individual's ability to express himself, gain aesthetic awareness, and realize the beauties in life. 

Thanks to visual arts teaching, our students; Our main aim is to make people understand that every individual has a talent in different subjects, even at different levels, and that the products of this talent are remarkable. At the same time, in different branches of art; We aim to build and strengthen students' self-confidence in using knowledge, materials, skills and technology effectively, with the help of their imagination, to produce their own works. 

As ERA College;

We provide opportunities for our students to create original works that can reveal their talents in our art workshops on our campuses, where there is a rich variety of materials.

We aim to raise individuals who embrace national values and are sensitive to people and the environment through the work we carry out on certain days and weeks.

We work to provide our students with a three-dimensional perspective through visual arts education at all levels of primary school, and support their studies to improve their self-confidence. 

In the visual arts course, we have our students create works using different techniques and materials to show them how they can express their imagination, feelings and thoughts through art. 

We explain the change of art in the process and the effects of works of art from past periods on today's art through examples. 

We enable them to produce new ideas inspired by Turkish culture and different cultures and turn these ideas into works of art. 

We examine the motifs on local art products and convey issues related to cultural heritage to our students by supporting them with museum trips. 

While doing these studies, we ensure that learning takes place through play and questioning. 

ERA Mind Studio courses are taught in specially designed studios where our students can practically develop their 5-fold development (Academic, Social, Psychological, Physical and Mental Development). Activities that will increase students' basic psychomotor skills and attention and focus skills are implemented in the lessons. In addition, new structures are created by exercising the visual, auditory and emotional function parts of the brain. The aim of the courses is for students to realize their potential at the highest level.

ERA Mind Studio Program has two basic courses: Action and Attention, which are determined by taking into account their qualifications, the skills they provide and the activity cycle. These lessons are held in two different studios designed according to their qualifications.

In the Era Mind Studio Program, detection, guidance and rating activities of students' development levels are carried out independently for each student. Development levels are determined through scientific tests and applications and presented to parents in a report. At the end of each semester, separate report cards are given for Action and Attention courses.

ERA College English teaching is based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​(CEFR) and the Communicative Approach is used. According to the CEFR Program, it is aimed that our students will be able to speak English at a level that allows them to carry out daily tasks such as meeting, introducing themselves, giving directions and shopping when they complete primary school.

English at ERA College; It is taught as Main Course, SkillsandSpeaking courses.  In our lessons, equal emphasis is given to the four main skills of listening, reading, writing and speaking, which emphasize the functional use of English. Lessons are taught by native English speaking teachers and Turkish teachers who are experts in their fields. 

English Language Education at ERA College also includes physical activities. Along with these physical activities, our students; They receive practical training through singing, role playing and imitation activities. In addition, picture cards, posters, audio materials and objects are also used in lessons.

Within the framework of the CEFR curriculum plan English Language Education is carried out with carefully selected UK-based documents and training methods including the Holistic Physical Response Method (TPR). Students are given the opportunity to access online reading programs on the digital platform with the passwords given at the beginning of the year. An enjoyable learning environment is provided to our students with the digital game-based Kidzwonder platform, which has a very large library and hundreds of BBCvideos.

In order to turn their foreign language learning privileges into an advantage, our students are optionally allowed to attend the Model United Nations conference. MUN (Model United Nations) is a simulation in which students discuss current issues in the United Nations and take on the roles of representatives of states and non-governmental organizations. This organization aims to raise individuals who can internalize a foreign language, have high self-confidence, and have a universal perspective.

During the measurement and evaluation phase, tests in printed and digital media are applied. On the other hand, the Test of Speaking (TOS) is applied, which measures the speaking and comprehension skills of our foreign teachers with our students face to face. This application motivates students that they can speak English according to their age group.

ERA College is based on theCommon European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​(GER) and uses theCommunicative Methodin teaching German. According to the GER Program, our students are expected to speak German at a level that allows them to carry out daily tasks such as meeting, introducing themselves, and making short sentences when they complete primary school.

Although English is accepted as a universal language today, second foreign language proficiency is needed in many fields. In this context, at ERA College, German lessons are added to English education starting in kindergarten, starting from the 3rd grade.

ERA College offers students an entertaining learning environment with games, songs, nursery rhymes, drawing, drama activities and listening skills activities in teaching German.

Within the framework of the GER curriculum plan German Language Education is carried out with carefully selected documents originating from Germany.

In robotic coding courses, students work on algorithms in fun coding workshops; It is aimed to develop attention, increase analytical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities.

Within the program, students not only improve themselves in robotic coding, but also take the first step towards improving themselves in the fields of Science, Engineering, TechnologyandMathematics by receiving STEMtraining.

Robotic coding lessons in all primary school classes; The logic of coding is taught with fun activities such as place and direction concepts, pattern sorting, coding activities, algorithm studies with games, the student producing his own game by coding, and developing projects with electronic circuits.

In the later grades of primary school, our students begin to make robot design and animation applications with robotic tools that include the coding process.

The main purpose of the program is to develop students' thinking and creativity skills. It supports students to look at events from a different perspective and to make their own quick and accurate decisions about the solution when they encounter problems. Mind and intelligence games, based on the principle of "Learning While Having Fun", contribute to children's intelligence development, creativity and academic success as they open the mind and facilitate learning. The program includes mind games, transaction games, strategy games, word games, memory games, logic games and mechanical games.

With these games taught at ERA College, tournaments are organized at regular intervals according to age groups. These tournaments increase children's self-confidence and enable them to learn friendship, sharing and competition by experiencing it.

The main purpose of the traffic safety course is to create "traffic safety awareness" in our students and to raise individuals who will exhibit sensitive behavior regarding traffic rules.

In this context, the Developmental Guidance Course we implement aims to help our students get to know themselves, acquire social skills, manage their emotions and take part in society as strong individuals, in accordance with their age.

Our developmental guidance program has been prepared to support the psychosocial development of our students, increase their awareness of life and help them develop positive behaviors.
