ENGLISH PROGRAM
ERA College's English language teaching is based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and the Communicative Approach is used.
At ERA College, we teach our English course by doing pair work, group work, drama, debate exercises and presentations, using different digital-based web tools.
As ERA College, we provide high school English courses as Main Course, Skills and Speaking. We focus on grammar and vocabulary studies with the digital-based documents we use in Main Course lessons. In Skills lessons; We take reading, writing and listening skills to an advanced level and carry out studies to develop critical thinking skills. GERMAN PROGRAM
ERA College German teaching is based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (GER) and the Communicative Method is used.
At ERA College, we teach German in 9th, 10th and 11th grades using the learning by doing and experiencing method. Our lessons are student-centered and based on communication and practice. At ERA College, our expert staff offers a detailed exam preparation program to our high school students in order to prepare for the Higher Education Entrance Examination (YKS) starting from the 9th grade.
The aim is to support the holistic development of our students with the 5-Part Development System (physical, mental, social, psychological, academic development) that we adopt in every level of education. For this purpose, in the 9th and 10th grades, a program with applied and theoretical courses is offered, as well as activities to help them gain social skills, while in the 11th and 12th grades, a more intense theoretical program and an exam preparation process are offered.
We aim for our students to reinforce their achievements in line with the curriculum of the Ministry of National Education with our subject-explained books, question banks, sheet tests and trial exams.
In the studies included in the program as a support for the basic courses, basic course achievements are reinforced by repetitions on the topics covered and students are enabled to gain the habit of taking tests with additional resources solved on the relevant subject.
10. By introducing a profession to our students at the end of the class, it is aimed for them to choose the right field and achieve success in YKS with these choices.
In the 11th and 12th grades, our students enter the YKS preparation process intensively. In this process;
ÖSYM question logic is instilled in our students by frequently conducting TYT and AYT trials and solving YKS questions from previous years after the lecture.
After the trial exams, our students' Development Monitoring Report Card and Success Monitoring Report Card are analyzed by our expert staff to monitor the current situation of our students and their success during the process.
After the measurement and evaluation, a study program is prepared in line with the subjects that our students are deficient in.
In cooperation with our advisors and guidance service, an individual study program is prepared for our students in line with their needs, and the study status of our students is monitored during this process.
During the YKS preparation process, the guidance service provides information to our students about the YKS System, Motivation, The Way to Success, Efficient Test Solving Techniques, Time Management and Memory Techniques, Ways to Cope with Exam Anxiety, etc. By giving seminars on different topics, we aim to ensure that our students go through this process healthily and successfully. Additionally, Study Behavior Evaluation Inventory, Test Anxiety Inventory, Exam Techniques Inventory, etc. are available for our students. Their needs are met through inventories.
Our school organizes trips to various universities to help our students set goals.
After the exam, our expert teacher staff and guidance service continue to provide detailed information about the universities and departments that our students can choose. Our students create their preference list with the information provided in line with the data received from the preference robot. This process is shaped by the cooperation of teacher - student - parent, ensuring that the student achieves success.
