Turkish lesson program; In general, it aims to provide students with the power to fully and accurately understand what they see, watch, listen to and read. 

The general aims of our course content are to help students,

The achievements in the Turkish curriculum are closely related to daily life. Because Turkish, our mother tongue, finds a place in every moment and in every area of ​​life. For this reason, as ERA College, we aim to raise awareness of the mother tongue in our students and encourage our students to protect their mother tongue and use it correctly and appropriately by giving priority to their mother tongue through "While There is Turkish" activities. At the secondary school level, while our students follow the course curriculum, they also prepare for exams with LGS content. Based on the goal of raising individuals with a reading culture, we plan one lesson per week as a book reading activity at all levels. In this way, our students' communication and self-expression skills, entrepreneurship and problem solving, understanding the importance of information, using information and benefiting from information are developed. Our school magazine activities are carried out every year in partnership with our teachers and students. In our creative writing workshops, creative writing seminars are given to our students with the authors we invite for the secondary school level. In this way, our students become aware of the act of writing; First of all, they learn to be open to innovation and to express their opinions boldly. As an institution that is aware that reading and writing is a never-ending journey, we include such conversations in our course activities.

Mathematics is the art of problem solving and also reasoning. It is a science that determines the properties of numbers and geometric shapes and studies the relationship between them. Mathematics is an indispensable tool of science and technology. As the ERA College mathematics department, our aim is to explain mathematical concepts to our students, to enable them to use mathematics in daily life and in other fields, and to provide them with the necessary foundation to receive advanced education in mathematics and other fields. To make students understand that mathematics is a tool and a way of life that makes life easier.

In our lessons where we teach mathematical literacy; We provide students with analytical thinking skills, analysis ability, visual perception development, problem-solving power and the ability to approach a situation from different perspectives. In all of our courses, we take care to emphasize to our students how the subject we cover will have implications in daily life.

We plan our lectures with the awareness that increasing the mathematical literacy of our students is possible by bringing our lessons into real life. We develop lesson environments, activities and applied projects in which students can be constantly active so that they can develop different perspectives. We ask our students many skill-based questions in various exams and reinforce the basics of LGS at all levels. We organize events such as Mathematics Olympiads and create environments where our students can participate in international exams. By organizing museum trips, we show that mathematics can be used outside the classroom. 

Science is a systematic way to understand the world we live in. As ERA College Department of Science, we also support our students on this path; We aim to enable them to explore nature, make logical reasoning, investigate the universe, solve problems and find the truth, and observe and define facts. 

Our students first learn science literacy. In other words, they develop their research, questioning, critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills. They can establish relationships between the causes and consequences of events taking place around them. As individuals who love nature and living creatures, they maintain their sense of curiosity about their environment and the world. They become lifelong learners, not just in classes. In addition, they learn the relationship between science, technology, society and environment. They have the competence to design their own scientific products by taking the attitudes and behaviors exhibited by scientists as a model. At ERA College, we apply the learning model whose stages are given below. 

Arousing Curiosity: We focus our students' attention on the subject that is intended to be learned through different approaches such as questions, experiments, activities and debates. 

Exploration: We enable our students to discover different features of the subject by having them do activities related to the subject to be learned. By asking questions, we direct their attention to the subject to be learned and help reveal their prior knowledge. 

Explanation: We synthesize and explain the scientific facts that our students find during the discovery phase. We provide brief information about the topics and measure whether they understand the topics. 

Expansion: We conduct lectures and laboratory studies that will enable our students to learn the subject more deeply and more comprehensively. We enable them to use the subjects they have learned to solve the problems they encounter in daily life. 

Assessment: We make evaluations throughout all stages and determine how much students understand the subject through question and answer techniques. In this way, we understand whether students are ready for the next stage by making interim evaluations. We use examples, applications and tests in measurement and evaluation. Finally, we administer trial exams and measure whether our students have learned the subjects fully. Based on the trial exam results, we determine the missing parts and conduct studies to complete them.

In today's world where technology and science are developing rapidly, social sciences; It helps students acquire knowledge and skills about the issues they encounter on an individual, family, social, national and global scale, and helps them make correct and logical decisions in daily life. As ERA College, we implement a program that aims to raise active and productive individuals and improve students' human relations and citizenship competencies.

In line with these goals, as ERA College, we prepare our students for LGS by providing them with the necessary academic information within the framework of the program determined by the Ministry of National Education, and at the same time, we guide them to acquire skills that will enable them to be effective in different areas of social life. While teaching our lessons at all levels of secondary school, we ensure that our students participate in the lessons with pleasure and support the retention of knowledge, thanks to drama activities. We aim to help them implement democratic values ​​through activities such as school representation and electing a class president, and to be sensitive to social problems through the work we carry out jointly with some non-governmental organizations. We strengthen the cultural infrastructure of our students and make them understand the importance of protecting national and spiritual values ​​through trips we organize to historical and natural beauties in the city we live in or in different cities of our country. With our project called Türkiye Region by Region, we introduce the clothing, food and music cultures of our regions to our students through events on our campuses, and convey the importance of protecting cultural heritage.

Our students, who obtain different achievements from the social sciences course at all levels of secondary school, grow up as individuals who can express themselves with the knowledge they have acquired, evaluate events multidimensionally, look to the future with confidence with the experiences they have gained from the past, and be a part of change.

In today's world, where technology and information sharing are developing very rapidly, religious culture and ethics course has a special value and importance in reaching accurate information about religion, which is a universal concept. As ERA College, we implement a religious culture and ethics program aimed at raising individuals who realize the role of religion in giving meaning to life and who have gained the ability to live together with differences.

As ERA College, for these purposes, we provide our students with the necessary academic information in the religious culture and ethics course, in line with the curriculum determined by the Ministry of National Education, and organize events where our students can exhibit the knowledge they have learned in their lives. Within the scope of Mevlana Commemoration Week, we organize poetry, flute recitals and whirling dervish shows in our schools to introduce Mevlana's concept of tolerance to our students. In the Holy Birth Week of Hz. We carry out classroom activities and bulletin boards to get to know Muhammad and convey his exemplary behavior to our students. By organizing bazaars during Ramadan, we strengthen the awareness of cooperation and solidarity among our students. 

As ERA College, we prepare our students for LGS in the religious culture and ethics course. In addition, the results of the trial exams are evaluated by our experienced teaching staff and we carry out studies to identify the deficiencies of the students and eliminate them.

Physical education and sports class; It includes all educational processes that will help secondary school students participate in physical activities and sports and develop their physical, mental, emotional and social skills in these processes. At ERA College, we take into account factors such as the age level, readiness, interests and expectations of our students during this education process. In physical education and sports classes, we try to develop our students' basic skills such as muscle strength, endurance, coordination, flexibility and agility. By teaching them to exercise their bodies and minds at the same time, we instill in them that sports is a way of life and requires disciplined work. We teach basketball, volleyball, football, table tennis, badminton, athletics, gymnastics and artificial climbing sports at the basic level. We aim to increase our students' enjoyment of watching sports matches by mastering the rules of these sports branches and to create sports awareness from an early age. We prepare our students for after-school team training and intra-class tournaments, as well as inter-class, inter-campus, provincial and district competitions. In this process, we strive to provide our students with positive personality traits such as good communication, respect, knowing themselves, being patient, setting goals, managing time and struggling with difficulties. Thus, we ensure that our students learn friendship, friendship, sharing and competition by experiencing it.

With the information technologies and software course, we aim to raise individuals who keep up with the rapidly developing technology and use technology correctly and consciously in their daily lives. We work with an educational approach that emphasizes our students' conscious use of technology, respecting social and ethical values, standing against cyberbullying, and seeking information from reliable sources. At ERA College; Following the scratch training starting from the 5th grade, we provide robotic coding, arduino and vex robotics training. While these trainings create a positive development in our students' algorithm analysis and analytical intelligence, they are also effective in understanding and analyzing new generation information content.

Our students, who can use Microsoft Office programs at an advanced level, can code, troubleshoot simple computer malfunctions and also gain knowledge about online computer programs.  We offer our students the opportunity to bring their own unique designs to life in our technologically equipped workshops, starting from simple animations, games and stories with coding training. Thus, our students have the opportunity to show their potential through district, provincial and country festivals and technology competitions where they can exhibit the applications or products they design.

As the technology and design department at ERA College, our aim in our courses is; To raise technology and design literate individuals who learn technology and design processes and use what they learn for the benefit of both themselves and society. As a result of these courses, one of our most important goals is to raise students who can observe and interpret the events around them, make evaluations, and determine the most appropriate solution among the available solutions to solve a problem. 

Thanks to the technology and design course, students develop their skills in analytical thinking, producing innovative suggestions, and being able to work harmoniously with the team as a part of the team; Their self-confidence increases.

At ERA College, we primarily aim for our students to realize their own capacities in the technology and design course. In addition, we provide them with visualization skills and awareness about technology and design.

In our technology and design courses, our students;

Visual arts education, which aims to turn emotions and thoughts into art with an aesthetic awareness that will appeal to the eye, contributes to students' opening new horizons in their world and realizing the beauties in life. As ERA College, we provide students of all age groups with the opportunity to present their individual talents from an aesthetic perspective in the field of visual arts.  Thanks to visual arts teaching, our students; Our main aim is to make people understand that every individual has a talent in different subjects, even at different levels, and that the products they produce as a result of this talent are remarkable. At the same time, in different branches of art; We aim to help them develop their self-confidence in using knowledge, materials, skills and technology effectively and creating their own works with the help of their imagination.

We help our students form and strengthen their perception of art by providing information about well-known painters and sculptors from our country and abroad and introducing their works.

We transfer the reflections of popular culture to art through the pop art works we do with our students.

With the costume design project we carry out as ERA College within the scope of World Art Day, we enable our students to show their works both within their own schools and in competitions.

We examine miniature art and miniature artists, provide them with applications appropriate to their age groups, and provide them with the opportunity to get to know the works of art belonging to our culture.

With visual arts education at all levels of secondary school, we support activities in which our students can express themselves in order to gain a three-dimensional perspective and improve their self-confidence. 

At ERA College, we raise generations that are sensitive to art and will contribute to the development of art.

ENGLISH PROGRAM

ERA College English teaching is based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and the Communicative Approach is used.

We provide digital-based English teaching by using various materials and applying course activities that will appeal to our students with different learning styles. We plan our English education by taking into account the new students who join us starting from the 5th grade of secondary school. We aim for our students at every grade level to understand what they listen to and read, and to be able to express themselves in writing and verbally. For this purpose, we carry out bilateral activities, group activities, word games and drama studies. 

At ERA College, we teach our secondary school English courses under the titles Main Course, Skills and Speaking. In the Main Course, we focus on grammar and vocabulary studies. In the Skills course, we emphasize the functional use of English and give equal weight to the four main skills of listening, reading, writing and speaking. In speaking lessons, we provide environments where our students can express themselves comfortably and learn the language by experiencing it. We teach our lessons with native English speaking teachers and Turkish teachers who are experts in their fields. In our secondary school program, we use UK-based documents, reading books, digital platforms and different web tools.  We conduct online exams at regular intervals to measure our students' skills in listening, reading and writing. We apply the Test of Speaking (TOS), which measures the speaking and understanding skills of our native English speaking foreign teachers in front of our students. Afterwards, we share the development status of our students with our parents by preparing report cards. We administer the Cambridge English Placement Test For Young Learners Examination (CEPT) to our 5th, 6th and 7th grade students who request it. In order for our 8th grade students to prepare effectively for LGS, we are implementing a special program that mainly includes word studies and subject repetitions in line with the curriculum of the Ministry of National Education. Thanks to the trial exams we organize in parallel with LGS, we are working to increase the success of our students in the exams they will take.

GERMAN PROGRAM

In today's globalizing world, the importance of knowing a foreign language is indisputable. Based on the concept of "One language, one person; two languages, two people...", ERA College provides education in German as well as English. The German curriculum applied in 5th, 6th and 7th grades is based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​(GER) and uses the Communicative Method. The aim is for our students to learn by experiencing the German course, which is enriched with games, dramatizations and songs. According to the GER curriculum, our students who graduate from secondary school are enabled to reach the A1 level. If they wish, our students can take the Fin in Deutsch 1 exam and prove with a certificate that they are world citizens.

At ERA College, our aim is to raise individuals who can recognize music, ensure music-body harmony, see the connection between music and society, express themselves through music, use music technologies, are participatory, open to innovations and have a structure that leads to change.

We work to highlight the artistic creativity of our students, to support their original thinking, to show that they have self-confidence and that they can share about music on every platform, to ensure that they grow up as individuals who care about art and artists, and to develop their feelings of love, sharing and responsibility through music. For this purpose, we develop and direct our students' interests and skills in the field of music, provide them with the ability and habit of playing a musical instrument, and create environments that enable them to socialize, such as choirs, orchestras and music groups. 

ERA College has a music workshop on every campus. In these workshops, our students explore different musical instruments and focus on the musical style they want. These workshops are our students' areas of freedom. All the music they create and play here belongs to them. This offers our students the opportunity to be original.

The LGS preparation program at ERA College is a process that gradually increases from the 5th grade to the 8th grade, taking into account the 5-Part Development System (physical, mental, social, psychological, academic development). Our students do not need any external support during LGS preparation, thanks to our experienced training staff. While we support our students academically during this process, we also implement an effective program in the areas of motivation and time management. It is an indisputable fact that taking trial exams is of great importance in addition to planned and programmed study in preparation for LGS. For this reason, with the trial exams and LGS rehearsals we conduct throughout the year, we help our students eliminate their subject deficiencies before taking the real exam and at the same time help reduce their anxiety and stress.  We enable our students to take the exam at the schools of their dreams and support them to increase their exam motivation with a real-time simulation trial we conduct in schools that accept students through LGS shortly before the exam. At the same time, by supporting the participation of our students in the trial exams held for all LGS students in Turkey, we provide the opportunity to see their success among other students more objectively.

Within the ERA College LGS preparation program,

An individual study plan is prepared based on the subjects our students are deficient in, and taking into account their living conditions, accompanied by our guides and consultant teachers. 

With the monitoring and evaluation of advisor teachers, our students are ensured to act in accordance with their individual study plans.

Our students' work is monitored by their advisor teachers through course tracking charts, and parents are fully informed about their progress.

During the exam evaluation process, thanks to the Progress Monitoring Report Card and the Success Monitoring Report Card, which analyze the exam in its entirety, the subjects in which our students are deficient are identified and compensation efforts are planned accordingly. 

During the exam process, sheet tests are applied immediately after the lecture to help our students reinforce the topics and minimize their mistakes.

With LGS trials from previous years and LGS preparation trials prepared by experienced teaching staff, our students are ensured to keep their readiness level at the highest level.

Study studies are carried out so that our students can solve more questions, fill in their gaps in the subject, and get answers to what they want to ask as soon as possible.

In this process; Seminars are organized for our students and parents by our guidance service and experts in their fields on topics such as Motivation, Goal Setting, Exam Management, Exam Tactics, Efficient Studying, Nutrition, Exams and Adolescence.

School promotional trips are organized to help our students set goals.  

Our students who take LGS can see both their total net score and their scores by entering the correct and incorrect numbers in the relevant branch sections of our ERA score calculation robot immediately after the exam. Our students can have an idea about the schools they can choose by seeing the percentage of their calculated score compared to the LGS exams held in previous years. In this way, they can have the opportunity to research the schools they may prefer before the exam results arrive and make decisions easier and faster during the selection process.

After the exam, during the school selection period, our students are informed about the schools that are suitable for their goals, dreams and scores, accompanied by our experienced education staff and guidance counselors. School preferences for each of our students are made together with their parents and students, and the process is followed.
