INNOVATIVE EDUCATION SYSTEM
While planning the Innovative Education System at ERA College, "21st Century Skill Frameworks in Program and Instruction" was taken as basis.
Life and Vocational Skills, Values Education
Learning and Renewal Skills
Information, Media and Technology Skills
With Life and Vocational Skills and Values Education, students are ensured to have social and emotional competence. Basic skills and career choice skills needed throughout life are developed. Individuals who embrace human values, live and keep these values alive, and strive to disseminate these values are raised.
With Learning and Renewal Skills , students are enabled to effectively include academic knowledge, art and sports in their lives within the common teaching areas of all courses.
Information, Media and Technology Skills enable students to effectively benefit from digital technology, social networks and media within the common teaching areas of all courses.
The Innovative Education System we implement at ERA College works based on three systems at kindergarten, primary school, secondary school and high school levels. According to these systems, all programs plan their achievements in their field in the most effective way and are prepared to complement each other. Interdisciplinary relations are at the forefront.
Working of this system;
Our Programs and Instruction
All academic programs, our foreign languages program and applied courses programs are prepared and implemented by supporting the 5-fold (Academic, Social, Psychological, Physical, Mental Development) development of our students in line with the goals of learning skills, life and professional skills, values education and technology skills.
Innovative learning methods and instructional technologies based on inquiry and problems are used.
Measurement and Evaluation
Multiple measuring tools and inventories are used. All measurement results are recorded on ERA INTRANET. 360° success monitoring is done with the New Generation Success Monitoring Report Card and the New Generation Development Monitoring Report Card. Our evaluations are reported with powerful analysis.
In addition to academic achievements, assessment and evaluation are carried out in which interdisciplinary themes and daily learning achievements are also taken into account. Feedback is given to students about these achievements. Emphasis is placed on formative evaluation.
Learning Environments
At ERA College, education and training are not done only in the classroom, within the time allocated to the lesson or activity, and by following textbooks. Extracurricular activities are also planned and monitored.
The architecture of our campuses is designed in accordance with the needs and development of the students in kindergarten, primary school, secondary school and high school. Laboratories, workshops, gyms, studios, libraries, seminar halls, school gardens, cafeterias, etc. These are our in-school lesson and activity areas.
Innovative environments are created to provide students with life and career skills, values education, learning skills, information media and technology skills. Academic, social and cultural activities are planned and implemented where they can work individually and in teams, and they are enabled to participate in national and international platforms and use digital technology tools.
Our most important criterion in our out-of-school complementary activities and out-of-school areas preferences is safety.
