2026 LGS Date Updated!

With the latest regulation made by the Ministry of National Education, the date of the central exam within the scope of the 2026 High School Transition System (LGS) has been updated.

It was announced that the exam, which was previously planned on a different date, was brought forward due to the official holiday arrangement in the calendar. According to the update, LGS will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

It was stated that a change was made in the planning of the application because June 12, the day before the exam, was a holiday. As every year, the exam will be administered in two sessions this year, with verbal questions in the first session and numerical questions in the second session. It was emphasized that students should be present at the exam centers before the specified hours on the exam day.

Experts point out the importance of planned and programmed work so that this change in the exam date does not directly affect the preparation processes of the candidates, and state that parents should follow the process closely.

Candidates who will participate in the 2026 LGS are recommended to continue their preparations by taking the updated exam calendar into consideration and follow the official announcements.
