Education has existed since humanity existed. The most important building block of education is undoubtedly teachers. This sacred profession has been celebrated every year since 24 November was declared as Teachers' Day in 1981. Teaching, which is a service profession, can only be practiced with dedication. Today; It is the day of our teachers who meet their students with love and sincerity and who are a light not only in their lessons but also in every aspect of their lives. Raising conscientious, responsible and moral individuals can only be done by our teachers who serve the hearts as well as the mind. So much so that Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who has the title of "Head Teacher", explained this situation with the following sentence; "Teachers should take advantage of every opportunity to run to the people, be with the people, and the people should understand that a teacher is not just a being who makes the child read the alphabet."
For a country to develop, its nation must first develop. The thing that will ensure this is education, that is, teachers. It can be achieved by discovering each individual's unique skills, working on improving them and gaining new skills. In this way, education; It develops the society economically, culturally and socially. It should not be forgotten that everyone such as Fatih Sultan Mehmet, Mimar Sinan, Atatürk is the work of a teacher. Each of our students studying at Era Colleges is a valuable asset to us. Our students discover themselves and develop with the environment of love, respect and trust provided by our teachers. We are proud of our students' achievements and continue to work for a bright future.
On this precious day, as Era Colleges, we commemorate our deceased teachers, especially the head teacher Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and all the martyred teachers, and celebrate the 24 November Teachers' Day of all our teachers.
