Environmental pollution, one of the biggest problems of today, is one of the biggest signs that we need to be environmentally conscious. In order to leave a beautiful tomorrow for future generations, we need to pay attention to our environment from now on. In this context, as Bahçelievler Era College, we had an interview with Ekrem Altıntepe, the author of the fantastic novel Nandiya Dragon, written about zero waste, recycling and bread waste. Our author, who was greeted with enthusiasm and curiosity by our students, told the story of how the book started, and our students asked what they were curious about. They watched the presentation about bread waste, prepared with visuals of the foods in which they used stale bread, and had their books signed. What caught the attention of us teachers was our students' curiosity about the word "nan" in the title of the book and their excitement for the continuation of the book.
