Every year on February 4, World Cancer Day, in the world and in our country; Various events are organized to increase awareness and awareness about cancer, to get rid of misconceptions about the fight against cancer and to convey the truth to everyone. Cancer is seen as the second cause of death after cardiovascular diseases in the world and in our country. One-third of cancers worldwide are preventable, and one-third are treatable when diagnosed early.This year, the campaign title for World Cancer Day has been determined as "Misconceptions Known to Be True". Cancer is a very difficult topic to talk about in some cultures and circles. However, fighting this disease openly; It will provide healthier results in terms of both the patient and the cancer fight policies. As it is known, various studies are being carried out in the world on the subject of fighting against cancer and staying away from cancer. The common denominator of these studies is that healthy nutrition and exercise should be important factors in human life. As Era Colleges, various projects are carried out in order to raise awareness on the subject with our students and to create empathy with people struggling with this disease. Within the scope of Era Colleges' social responsibility projects, we organize seminar programs with various associations for all our students, from kindergarten to high school. Creating this perception and providing the necessary support are among our most important goals. At Era Colleges, the motto of healthy living and healthy nutrition is among our basic principles. We aim to come together with our students and parents in our seminars on healthy nutrition, which is considered one of the most current problems of today, the effects of healthy nutrition on human life and the positive aspects of exercise, so that they can have an idea about detailed and up-to-date information on the subject.
